Client: International Council of Firefighters, AFL-CIO
Challenge: Create an independent campaign effort to assist in the
retention of a seat for a first time State House Representative; a local
fire fighter whose rookie win had been by less than 2 points.
In an intensely competitive swing district - with mail boxes being stuffed
daily by both sides The Gilpin Group created a powerful, positive
drive-time radio spot targeting the local blue collar shift
change listening audiences.
The result? Our fire fighter comfortably kept his seat with a 7-point
margin to spare.
